Happy New Year Blessings! It has been awile since I have written, December festivities have come to a calm place and I have to say it was quite a blissfull and busy holiday season. New and old connections with family, and friends as well as some time skiiing and hiking in the winter wonderland. So much gratitude, I have fallen back in love with life and have entered this new year on FIRE! Deep connection to Kundalini energy and the fire goddess have ignited within the depths of my soul and the Crystal Garden is transforming into an entity of it own now. As this transformation takes place, I am welcoming in the year of the dragon and will be brewing up in the cauldron some deep, shapeshifting and wild medicine in 2024!

The days are growing shorter as we head into December, the early sunsets remind us to go inward, we are descending into the winter season already begun in most of the northern hemisphere. This season I am offering the gift of relaxation and healing with gift certificates. I’ll be parking my broomstick and setting up shop at the Witch Market on the eve of the full moon Oct 27th and Oct 28th all day. This is the Grand Opening of Divine Fayerie and Artistic Images in Castlegar. Should be a fabulous and fun gathering of vendors, workshops, healers and witches from all over the West Koots! The store has some magickal items, tarot cards, art and of course CRYSTALS! You can book some “witchy” healing sessions with me on my website or there will be sign up sheet at the shop for “walk ins” or pop in sessions in between all the action going on!

Gratitude and lots to be thankful for this fall, I always get so nostalgic as we bring in the final harvest, spend time with loved ones and watch the majestic beauty this time of year. Where I live the surroundings are magical with red, orange and yellow golden hues, stunning days of color, warm during the day and cool off for sweaters at night. The season of the witch is upon us, and to celebrate there will be special monthly offerings, starting on Oct 15th, I’ll be offering Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage in the healing space at the Himalayan Salt Cave in Nelson, BC! Happy to announce that Crystal Garden will be re-opening in May, limited evening and online sessions, and in person dates soon, just in time to celebrate my most favorite sacred ceremonial day of year, Beltaine! May Day (as some call it ) falls on May 1st, and it is said the boundaries between our world and the fairie realm is thin. The snow recedes in the mountains to show new shoots and the air is pungent with the smell of sap and earth in the forests. It is time to ignite the bonfires, the rites of spring, expressions of love and tis the season for planting, fertility and sexuality. The first May full moon called the “Flower” Moon also coincides with a Lunar Eclipse on May 5th, time to dance and bring forth prosperity with fresh new ideas, and joyous desires! What are you giving life to this season?

The holiday break at Crystal Garden: Holistic Healing Sanctuary is being extended into 2023. All sessions, circles & workshops are on HOLD. Not sure when I will re-open, this wounded healer needs to listen to the divine. Holding space for loved ones has been beyond my abilities, asking for a higher source to heal those hurting themselves and others in their pathway. SACRED PAUSE IN PLACE.

Summer is still holding on here in the mountains of BC during the day, cooler evenings and mornings hint to the impending transition to Autumn just around the corner… The beauty and pace of summer is one of my favorites, love the heat, connecting in with sun, water energies and grateful to be gathering more with others this season.
I will be introducing in-person and online teachings starting this September, an ongoing for the Fall season!
Eclectic blends of ancient and modern “Witches Wisdom” courses and more opportunities for evening activations, sessions and ceremonial gatherings is brewing up from the Crystal Garden cauldron!

It’s been awhile since I wrote, my life took some major shifts settling and working on my new home and then suddenly losing my beloved father. Connecting and moving through major change, loss and grief has taken priority and I sought solace and prayers with my family and with divine source. I realized more than ever to love and hold close your dear ones while they are with us. I feel blessed to have been there with my dad through his spirit passage and to offer some comfort as he set upon his flight to peace. He can finally breathe easier now.
I feel his presence when the squirrels chirp in the forest, or the wind whispers in the trees. The sound of the rushing mountain creek soothes my soul and brings me dreams of skiing with my dad or out berry and mushroom picking with him nearby. His kind, compassionate, loving and hard working spirit lives in my heart always.

February 2nd, 2022 Imbolc & New Energy
I am welcoming and feeling into the new energy coming from Aquarius New Moon that just came in, the new Lunar year of the Water Tiger, and the Celtic rooted high holy day of Imbolc, or as some refer to as Candlemas. I created for the first time Brigid’s Cross last night to honor the Goddess Brigid of fertility and healing. She is said to become a young maiden after the cold of winter. The cross and it’s primary purpose is to protect the home, drive away evil, fire and hunger. It can also represent peace and goodwill, and was placed in cowsheds to safeguard animals, and to help them to produce more milk. In the mountains where I live, I can sense the stirring of seeds energy deep within the mother earth, giving us promise of warmer days of growth and newness not too far away. We are at the between mid-point of the winter solstice and the spring equinox and I keep a candle lit in the window, as a reminder of the spark of fire and renewal to come. Awaken!
December 21st, 2021 WINTER SOLSTICE
Today is the shortest day of the year, also known as the winter solstice. A time to honor the coldest rest of the earth.
The solstice marks the start of winter in astronomical terms, where the start of seasons is determined by the tilt of the earth’s axis.
This also coincides with the day on which we will have the least amount of daylight – marking the point when the days will gradually start to get a little longer before the clocks go forward in the spring.
I have been crafting candles at this time of year since I was a teenager, melting crayons back then to making works of art as I got older. It has now become a tradition in my family and a part of gift giving. As we bring in the light, the sun will slowly gain more strength. We also light a Yule log signifying the warmth and comfort of light and igniting of the fire…remembering thanks of gratitude from the last year to letting go of all that no longer serves our dreamtime.

Harvest is in, the celebrations of Samhain, & Hallow’s Eve energy still in the air, as the scent of fallen leaves descends down deep within the earth’s depths and darkness. The New Witches year has begun and in many cultures around the world we honor our ancestors in these times. In my roots and homeland, it is called Dusicky – Czech Day of the Dead. It literally means “little souls” and translates in english as “All Souls Day”. It’s origins go back to the times when the Celts lived in central Europe. They celebrated Samhain in the night from Oct 31 – Nov 2nd. They believed the souls came back to earth and the veil is thinnest between our world and their realm. Traditionally masks were worn to protect from evil spirits and people across the lands painted their faces. Customs have changed over the years but you will still find families and friends gather at their gravesites in Czech Rebublic cleansing the tombs, replenishing with fresh flowers, and lighting a candle in honor of those that have passed. It is a very peaceful day of remembrance and prayers, many blessings.

Aquarius Blue Full Moon energy is here, another chance to release all that doesn’t serve us, and time to cleanse the crystals in the energy! This is an age old practice of putting out gemstones in the moonlight, so they can operate as their best frequency. Another practice I like to do as well is creating moon water and gem elixirs on full moons to share with you in my sessions. Blessed be La Luna!

May 26, 2021 Things are getting closer to opening weekends starting this summer! It is a busy month ahead with lots of flowering creativity, health endeavors and celebrations going on. The announcement yesterday about the re-start plan for BC gives us all a big breath of fresh hope! Step by step, we are going to gather, re-group and be giving hugs to one another very soon!
